Made it to Jackson just before closing time (inspection). Plan to catch a bucket of Shad, and drift the night away, and we couldn't have planned it better. From the 2000 hour till 0700 the next morn we were able to put 6 nice Channel Cats in the boat ranging from 20'' to a nice 30'' 16 pounder. Also kept the lines tight with 4 big beautiful Carp, all going 10 to 14 pounds. Didn't see any Wiper, but my friend landed a nice 27 incher a few days ago. Night time temp down to 39 degrees (thus the Cold Jackson night). Water temp running 55 to 57 degrees, and the water down 6+ feet, but still a lot of water compared to past years at this time.
Enjoy the pics,

Wow Al nice job!

Did you cut the shad up or use them whole?

Thanks for the reply if you choose to give one!

Hey Riv, I trade you a few Cats for some of those beautiful Wipers.

Thanks for the responses guys, and like Angry said, "a few fish will keep ya warm."
