some trout ice and I have caught on the colorado this month. Nothing big pictured; this has been a fairly slow fall for us. I did catch a 24" 8 pound brown this fall though but ice didn't get a pic (he was 1 mile away or so on another hole, lol). Some people from california saw it and got a pic too bad I'll never see it.
Ice with a typical colorado rainbow- so THICK....

me w/ a dinky 14", come fight me in two years when you are 4 pounds!

A brown nearly as thick as ice's rainbow and even longer; too bad its a bad angle

Nice fish man! Is that a stone fly hangin out of his mouth or what? Whenever I fish the Colorado, the trout will hit stones, ven if they arent hatching or whatever

its a "worm fly" ;)
Yeah they always hit stones on the colorado river according to everyone I talk to, read in some of my old reports and you will see that a guy I watched caught a 5 pound bow on a stone in either march or april I forget. My dad's friend flyfishes some and always gets a few on stones...you definitely are right there mustang!
