I was just curious if there was any bass fishing that I could do from shore near colorado springs. I did discover Brush Hollow Res. by talking to one of the guys at Dicks Sporting goods. As of right now im boatless and new to the area so any help would be appreciated.

Both local ponds have bass and wipers in them Pikeview (on garden of the gods and Mark Dabling) and Quail Lake (behind tinsel town)
I have not caught either out of these lakes, but I use to catch them out of prospect all the time. I have a feeling the bass bite at these 2 lakes are going to start picking up though.
I noticed that the city has filled qail lake up again. The docks they installed are all the way in the water now. I dont know how much fish are in there though, i see tons of people fishing there every day, all the time. I drive by it every day to work.

Thats good to know the water level was hella low when I went last time the docks almost all the way out of the water. It does get alot of fishing pressure but I'm sure there are plenty of fish left in it as it was the main location for the transplant of fish from prospect to it. I think I'll try and get up there soon and give it a go, pikeview is just so close to my house its easier to get a line in there.
Thanks for the info.. ill be checking these out this week.
LouT-Brush Hollow is far far better than either of the lakes in CS. Ed
