Well, kinda. I have learned big fish can be a grind everywhere, but the states to all sides of us have better opportunities. Thus Colorado really isn't too bad if you are willing to make 4-10 hour drives. :D Have had a tough go in 2017 but a few PBs the last few months have kept me from selling all my gear.

8 lb largie

7+ lb cutbow

Skinny 41"er

Nailed some decent topwater smallies

20 lb 7 oz. Only took 4 days to get bit

Haven't been fishing much over the summer, as I hope to gain some motivation for the fall when big fish opportunities start to build up. Maybe this cooler weather will get some guys out fishing again soon, this forum has been dead for quite a while now...

With that title figured it was your post, think you're the only other member here that dislikes this place as much as me.. The grind sucks man, too bad timing hasn't lined up for us to link up so far but maybe we can get after em for a couple days this fall. Nice fish!

Yeah man I have been thinking about that as well. Will be finished up with work in 2 weeks and fishing all fall unless I get hired for an out of state job. We def need to get after some toothy critters in September/October.
