Went high for some Brookies. That peak is 12,453 ft. Camped at 10,200 or so. big brooky on ground went 18". Fat fish, shoulda ate it! Tater the fishing dog loves pointing the fish.

Its in the Flattops. About 11,000 ft. There are MANY lakes up there with big brookies just depends on whether the lake is on an up cycle or a down cycle. Shallow lakes make big fish but most winter kill every 3-5 years.
