cordless impact for a power auger

That's a really nice looking impact wrench! If you don't have a cordless impact already buy one and don't look back, you'll love it and it's amazing how often you will end up using it. I love my Makita 3/8 inch impact, 9 volts but still going strong. I have hauled it out onto the ice to drive anchor bolts. I have a couple of Makita 1/2 inch drives (12 volt) that I don't use as much. But if you know tools, then you know already that there is a "right tool for the job." If you end up liking ice fishing you're gonna end up buying a gas ice auger! :)

That driver is 800in-lbs, not 800ft-lbs. Don't get me wrong, I have a 3/8th DeWalt driver myself. I love it. Just never used it on the ice.
