I'm sure this has been brought up somewhere else, but I don't know where.

This question is mainly for all of the wiper hunters on the forum.

Do you buy your crawdad tails or catch the crawdads? If you buy them, where do you buy them?

I went to the Chatfield ponds the other day, but all I could find were little ones. I guess the big ones still haven't come shallow.

If you want to find lots of them of all sizes, walk the dam at Cherry Creek and flip over rocks near the water edge. Not the rocks actually under the water, just the ones right above the water. Trust me, the water is still under these rocks and they can't escape from you easily.

Ive always cought them at the park off of quincy/ tamarac. The CC spillway runs through the park. I went there 2 weeks ago to get some and couldn't find any. not 1! Do they not come out until later in the year?
