Has anyone ever used creek chubs for bait? I found this little drainage pond behind my apt that is just full of em and theyre super easy on the fly. Caught a whole variety of sizes, too. It seems like itd pretty much be the same as sucker meat.

Walleyes, brown trout, and northern pike love them...they seem to have a scent that makes walleyes go nuts...

I use them live in NE all the time, walleye, pike, and cats hammer them live. Haven't had any luck with pike or walleye with them cut though just cats

if you want to use them alive you best check the regs on use and collection of live bait, very tight restrictions where you can use them. you can use dead ones most places
