Great clinic by some of the areas top tyers. There will also be a "Garage Sale" at the same time. You might be able to pick up something that you really want, cheap.

Chapter members are encouraged to bring in unwanted gear and donate the proceeds to the chapter for our educational programs. A good cause and a place to pick up an item or two that you want at a good price. There will also be some fly tying materials for sale. The monthly fly raffle includes a dozen flies and a gift card from Hook Fly Fishing in Highlands Ranch and a dozen flies from John Gordon of Colorado Springs. Additional half dozen flies tied by our chapter guys will be given away as well. It is a good time and real relaxed atmosphere.

The attendance was not as good in prior years. Perhaps it was too close to the West Denver Clinic. The tyers were great as always. With fewer people it was easier to talk to and see what was being tied. The "Garage Sale" did have some interesting things. If you were into tying large flies on Mustad hooks you missed out on a great deal. $1 for a bag of hooks. Each bag had a minimum of 100 hooks in them. The silent auction had items that you don't find often. The monthly fly raffle featured flies and gift card from the Hook Fly Fishing and a set of "Sweet 16 BWO's" of dry flies from John Gordon. It was a nice relaxed evening with fellow anglers.
