What report did you check. Was at North Delaney Monday and ice was 25" on both north and south.

Delany Buttes Ice off!
I just checked the report and ice is coming off in northpark. Open water at Delany Buttes. Anyone want to head up there tommorow (sunday 4/10) or next weekend?

Lake John/Delaney Butte Lakes

Here is a quick update on a few lake conditions. Some of the smaller ponds are beginning to loosen up, however, main bodies such as John, Cowdrey and the Delaneys are still locked tight with well over a foot of ice. Of course, everything is dependent on the weather, and ice fishing will soon become an iffy proposition, though should still be safe for the next week or so with the use of common sense. Streams .
