Fished DeWeese Sunday morning. Fished from 7:30 to 1:00 PM. Set up between the outhouses located on the northwest shore about 40yds out from shore. Windy and cold with 6" to 8" of ice with solid edges. Fished earlier in the year and was a bit tricky getting off the ice later in the day. Popped a few holes, dropped the vexilar in and marked fish immediately. Depth was 20' and fish were located from 14' to 18'. Jigged a #3 pearl swedish pimple and after missing a few subtle hits, the first fish of the day slammed the hardware and was soon on top of the ice. Couldn't coax another hit on the pimple so began to set up deadsticks. Missed numerous subtle hits, however iced a total of 9 fish ranging in size from 13" to 15"s. About average for this lake. All caught on a glow minnow head tipped with a mealworm and nitro grease.
