had a hankerin for some trout so i stopped by deweese for dinner the lake was calm with a slight ripple it is still full to the brim. started soaking some crawlers in the sweet spot. we kicked back and waited for dinner to swim up. the first taker was a sucker had to save that for bait. then then shortly after that got a nice trout bout 17"



as the sun started to set time to get the fire going

just as junior was about to go on the grill his brother showed up
now we got two for the grill

They will be in your backyard soon...... Just like Denver.....enjoy your dinner

Great series of pictures!! Nothing tastes quite as good as trout that are freshly caught and cooked over open coals! (except maybe fresh Elk loins!!) ;D

Man, I'm hungry now!!

I didn't see a lawn chair with Crown Royal night cap, but it looked like a pretty good dinner setting. Nice post

i dont eat fish too much, but those trout on your grill made me think about catching a few....

It sure doesn't get any better than that! There's just something about eating them right on the lake that makes them even tastier. Nice pic's!
