So this is really cool!! About 4 years ago I deposited a couple dozen Canadian NightCrawlers in my yard one rainy evening. I can go out on my front yard after dark when the grass is wet and pick them up by the hundreds now!!! I'm talkin' the big guys too!! I never have to buy them anymore. I've looked in other people's yards in my neighborhood and no one has any except me!!

Does anyone else here have the same good fortune as me to have so much bait crawling through their grass at night??

After I go fishing I always dump my thing of crawlers that I buy in my garden also. I have tons of them crawling through. Not as big as the ones I put in but I do have a some good sized ones. I actually just went out to get some yesterday to feed my bichers.

after a goo rain my driveway is covered in worms. i was cleaning my driveway with bleach once and the runoff got in the grass. hundreds of worms left the yard. dont know how they would do fishing. every spring i put the dry worm food on my yard. dont know if it helps any. also if you have a garden, add newspaper shreadings along with stale bread adn the worms in your garden get huge.

Everyone here knows when you leave worms in your vehicle for a while they stink. Well, did you know if you wait even longer they dont stink anymore. I was cleaning out our fifth wheel today and found a contianer of worms left over from ice fsihing (sometime in the beginning fo march). I opened these up and they didnt stink. The worms rotted though and made the dirt one solid brick. it was pretty nasty looking but no smell.
