Fished 1.5 hours amongst a few other anglers. Depth varied. Ice 6-7" solid, with some puddles on top due to warm air temps. The fishing: Nada! Zippo! Skunkolo!

In the corner by the boat ramp, and out along the dam to the pumphouse.

You see any one else doing any good or talk to any one. Douglas is one of my favorite lakes. If the Ice holds up I'll be there sat morning.

When you've only got an hour or so to fish, and it's nearly an afterthought, it's not terribly disappointing to get skunked.

Anyway, not too much of a slump - the day before had some perch at Boyd, and today had some nice trout action at Parvin with the new fishfinder. Caught my x-mas dinner up there, actually. I'm going somewhere tomorrow, too, but not too far - maybe red feather again.
