Hey all,
First of all, I'm new to these forums, and just recently started fishing again.

3 friends and myself went out to Dowdy Lake and tried our luck shore fishing and trolling. Well, we went in the afternoon and had mild to moderate winds. Water was in the 40's still but we ended up doing well. Out trolling the dam and near the western island, myself and the guy I was with ended up landing 1 8" Brown and 3 Rainbows between 10" and 12".

When we changed with the other 2, we ended up fishing the northern most island. We ended up catching 3 Browns around 10" or so, and and 3 more Rainbows ranging between 10" and 13". The 13" was caught on a worm about 20 feet out and on the bottom. The others were caught on Kastmasters and RoosterTails of various colors. Overall, we came out with 10 Rainbows and 1 Brown between the 4 of us.

Was a good day. Unfortunately we didn't have any pictures. :(

I love when new members start off their posting with a good fishing report. Welcome, and it looks like a good day.
