Thinking about heading up to dowdy mon morning. I know that the temps have been up but the ice will still be ok right?

Elevations above 6500 feet have been consistantly getting below freezing at night. Firming the ice back up. There is always the risk that the ice has thinned but the odds are better for good ice at elevation.

I'm taking my mom and dad. Kind of a christmas present to spend some time together. It should be a good time.

I fished Parvin today, right next to Dowdy. Nice and warm, and ice was 12" thick and solid as a rock. You'll be fine up there. Elevation is something over 8000 ft. up there, I think.
