Please join Trout Unlimited's Wild Trout Chapter for a special event we are hosting to benefit open space in Eagle County ( with U.S. Congressman Mark Udall and famed Colorado photographer John Fielder on the evening on Monday, August 29th at the Mile High Station in Denver. Tickets for the event can be purchased online at and are $40 in advance and $50 at the door.

As you may know, The Eagle River Preserve is an open space acquisition project in Eagle County, where a current gravel pit will be transformed into a 72-acre open space park, creating prime fishing access along the Eagle River. The price tag for this property is $12 million, and the Vail Valley Foundation has already raised over $11 million, but they need to reach their goal of $12 million by September 5th for their offer to be accepted.

Please feel free to pass along this email to any outdoor enthusiasts, anglers, sportsmen, and conservation-minded people that might have an interest in attending this event.
