The voice on the other end of the phone said-En Fuego.
I thought Ahh- gotta work, no way. Then 2 days later a different voice on the end of a different phone says- En Fuego.
Call in sick, hit the road with Coffee joe meet up with Ronco and his better half and it was -En Fuego.
joe and i had 75 eyes, 3 craps, 3 perch and a drum by 1030 am.
Caught fish everywhere, many times doubles, triples and even quads! yes quads!
i was having doubles and triples with guys in other boats.
Ronco and company got 55 eyes, 2 craps and a drum and a trout.
joe and I ended up with around 125-140 eyes. 18 of which were keepers.
it was nonstop, if you went 5 minutes without a bite something was wrong. VERY hard work to keep 2 rods in the water.
I have never caught more eyes in single day ever. It was truly Nuts.
3" chartreuse grub on 1/4 oz head w/ piece of worm was equal to the metal this day.
I am forever grateful to the voices saying En Fuego!
