Yes, there are Walleye in Lake Estes. I know of quite a few caught this season. They were stocked in 2002. If you go for them, try by the pipes that go under the road. I know Catfishingking from this site has landed some from below the dam.

I would try some suspending jerk baits fished really slow along rock jetties or the dam.

Did they put in Walleye or Saugeye?

A buddy of mine caught 4 in a row a few years back. he fishes Estes almost daily and hasn't got one since. He usually fishes from the shore in front of the road w/ the parking areas. All the Walleye I saw caught or heard about being caught were like Neal said along the rocks. Oh, and the ones I saw were just off worms. To get below the dam take Mall you'll see where to turn (it's a dirt road). Good Luck.
