You can't get it to run straight. Storm makes a deep rattlin' flat wart
that I just love. Its a smaller crank but gets down to 13 ft, has a very tight wiggle and a great sounding rattle.

It tracks straight on a slow retrieve but if I speed it up at all it turns over
and runs to one side or the other. I've tweaked it over and over again but it still won't run straight.

So I'm back to Bass Pro hoping that I got a bad one and others will run true.

I've had 'em do that when they have sort of pointed heart shaped lip.

A bigger hook up front might help, or just add some lead solder to the hook shanks.

Thanks, might try the bigger hook if I have more problems.

Never thrown that particular bait. It runs like that outta the box? All of them you have tried?

Sounds like the hook holder eyelets may not be straight...They're the rudders on the crank...and if out of alignment ..the crank will want to turn on its side.

Just the one, now I have four new ones. Never even thought about the hook hangers-looked at the new ones I bought and they seem straight.

Its got a longer bill for such a small bait and that may make it tempermental as far as a straight retrieve.
