Hi all. I have lived in the Colorado Springs area for about a year, and would like some input on fishing the surrounding area.

I am interested in fishing for Hybrids in Lake Pueblo. I currently don't have a boat, so I'm needing some advice on areas that could offer productive bank fishing.

Any advice would be helpful. Other species welcome also!
I know this is a fishing site, but info on open areas for turkey hunting would be awesome too!

Thanks in advance!
Jeff

Search the forum for "fun day with some wipers." The guy who posted it and a few guys who commented on it know quite a bit. Almost all of the wiper threads have little tidbits. It's a puzzle to be put together.

Keep in mind... the hybrids you speak of are sterile. So don't be surprised if people aren't jumping out of their shoes to give you coordinates and such before they know who you are and what you're all about.

Thanks for the info so far.

A little more about me. I have been fishing and hunting for over 35 years. I am passionate about archery.

I moved out here to be close to my grandchildren.

I finally have the time off during the week to do some things, and I love to fish. My last boat was a 19'3" Charger with a 200 EFI Merc on it. I miss having a boat and being able to get out on the water, but if fishing the bank is all I can manage for now, that's where I'll be.
