Got woken up early this morning by some birds out back and figured it was a sign. Went out to try my luck and caught a 14 inch LM pretty quickly. Nice one, but nothing to write home about.

Decided to change up the lure and presentation and a few casts later wham! Got a nice one.

She faught real hard and at first I thought I got a catfish but as I reeled her in I saw it was in fact a bass.

She weighed in at 2.5lbs.

Sorry about that. I was a bit frustrated and I appologize for being cryptic....

I got this one at Prospect Ponds in Fort Collins. I got it in the south pond.
