I went up to Spinney last week with Jackalope and CoffeeJoe to see how the fishing was up there. As usual it was excellent. 24 trout between 14 and 21 inches. And 10 small Northerns. Fish were caught on Kastmasters, tube jigs, and panther martins. All fish were caught in 15-20 feet of water. It was a pretty nice day. The wind didn’t start blowing until about 3:30 in the afternoon. The water temp was 57 degrees which seems a little warm this time of year. My guess is that the lake is about 5 feet below capacity. All in all, this was a pretty good fishing trip. Here are the pictures.
