Well that then begs the question,  "when you catch an ice how do you cook it?"

Dan
you boil it of course!

I am onto you maggot drowners, it's not the fishing that's the big draw, it's that bottle of cheap brandy stashed in the shelter.

But if you invite me along to share it, your secret is safe with me.

Hey John,

You can still fly fish during hard water and I believe we can make a convert of you.

a. Cut hole in ice
b. tie two nymphs to ice line
c. clip small split shot below nymphs
d. Verticle jig my brother, verticle jig!

and e. the best part for ya.. if fishing is slow, you can tip that nymph with a grub or a mealy-worm without fear of fines  ;   )

Something to do in between all that fly tying that will go on this winter.

Invite is open, joing the ice crew for some hard water fishing!

... Poo on all of you...i hope your little "Tip Ups" (or little dingle dangle things or whatever it is you play with out there in your shacks) freezes and breaks off like a brittle pretzel stick...
This is just funny stuff. LOL till my face hurts.

What? I only fish on days that end in "Y"!

What if you use flies to ice fish? Catch lots of trout through the ice with copper johns.
