Rode my mountain bike to a lake a couple miles away from here in golden. Was using my shimano citica and one of the bass pro graphite series rods with a lucky Craft pointer 100 in the ms crack color pattern. Super slow retrieve with intermittent pops. Got one good saugeye and called it a night. I plan on fishing it hard through the spring. Hopefully I’ll have some really good, multiple fish nights. I know there are some real toads in here so hopefully I’ll come across one.
