For lures by some 3 or 4" curly tail grubs and rig them on round jigheads. Bring both 1/8 and 1/4 oz. Sink them to the bottom and reel them in steadily, while barely ticking bottom. if that doesn't work, jig it back in with a lift, fall, pause, lift, fall, pause along the bottom. Curly tails work very well and are easy to learn to use. You lose quite a few of them but the fish makes it worth it, and how I buy the rig is about 70 cents apiece, losing 9 of those is equivalent to losing 1 rapala, and you catch just as many if not more fish on them. Hope this helps.
