McCall doesn't allow ice fishing, i read the sighn today.
does lagerman allow it? i thing it's run by boulder county open space, and most of thiose don't allow it. boulder res allows it, but you got to pay to play i would imagine. let us know where you go.
only had a couple hours at Boyd yesterday , quite a few guys out mainly by Heron bay. Ice was about 5 to 6
I fished the inlet trying for crappie and perch , zeroed on them but two average rainbows on the basic ice jig and mealy.
It felt nice just to get on the ice for awhile .
Regarding McCall lake west side of Longmont , its odd , no ice fishing signs have been up for years but you still see plenty of guys out when the ice is good and ice skaters at times .
Since the 1980s a group of us would go on several annual backpack/fishing trips to alpine lakes (snowmass, stout creek, various sangre de cristo lakes, capitol (now fished out ? ) constantine - just to name a few.
We are now in our 60s so for the past couple of yrs we've selected a base camp...
