Today and Yesterday, I got "the rainy day blues". The reason is I love fishing in the rain.  But I worked an extra 12 hours yesterday and am working my normal 24 hours today.  Does anyone else just love fishing in the rain?

I remember as a kid fishing all day long in a nice warm rain (unlike the cold rain in Colorado) and catching bluegill and bullhead all day long..........

Which is it for you? love it or is it the blues?

I love it! Less crowded, decent cloud cover, and you don't have to worry to much about spooking the fish.
However, I picked up an extra shift last week, leaving today as my only day off. It would have been ok. My wife and I were going over Trail Ridge. We were going to fish at Willow/Widow some resevoir over by Granby. It snowed on Trail Ridge, and is pretty cold over there. The back up plan was to spend the day at Wardon/Sawhill or Pella's. Since the wife is w/ me, that's out the door unless it stops raining.  :'( Maybe I can talk her into dropping me off for an hour or so (while she goes to Target or something).
It has been awhile since I've had a whole day to fish.  :'( :'( :'(

I work as a paramedic in Black Hawk.  Usually its a nice quiet job.  Gives me lots of time to be on the internet, though (you will recognize this TFB) idratherbfishing!  :)
