Tried the iron silk and hated it. Never tried the fireline but heard nice stuff about it. I use spider wire 30lb and love it. True the lighter line is more sensitive but I just get sick of my line breaking off all the time when lifting the fish out the water (should really carry a net) or from snags. Never have this problem with spiderline. Just hate the price though.

Just wondering what kind of line(s)(brands and types) you die-hard fishermen use. I was thinking about getting the Berkley Fireline. Has anyone use that. If you have? How's the performance on it?
