Nothing in the CPW fishing brochure specifically mentions that you can't fish off bridges...however, I would think if you couldn't fish from the bridge it would be posted as such. Depending on the area, I wouldn't do it for safety reasons. Some of those bridges are quite narrow.
Fishing off a bridge
ItIs it legal to fish off a bridge? The bridge is located on a county dirt road where the water comes from a lake into the arkansas river. Thank you for any information you can provide.

May be a CDOT rule against stopping or standing on a bridge...tried Googling it, but no luck...
Amen to this! I've never had much luck getting them up to where I was fishing from!Should be a sign saying "no fishing from the bridge" if not allowed. If it doesn't, then go for it. Landing fish might be a bigger problem.
