Well, they finally bumped the flows a little on the Taylor (to 147cfs) so I grabbed the rod and headed up there. All in all it was a good day. None of the big boys were moving yet so maybe another 50-100cfs and they will show up. Caught a few decent fish though so I cant complain. The crowds were insane. At one point I counted 19 other guys and thats just what I could see. Other than that, the Taylor is heaven on earth if you ask me! Baetis patterns were the ticket, and we also picked up a few fish on black jujubee midges. First thing in the morning my Simms guide pants ripped wide open from front to back, so I was essentially fishing in really expensive chaps all day long.
