I have a ritual CD that I listen to before I go fishing or on the car trip to go fishing.  My 2 favorite fishing songs are by Primus a great band and a great bunch of fishermen.  The songs are "Fish On (The Fisherman's Chronicles, Part 2)" and "The Ol Diamond Back Sturgeon (The Fisherman's Chronicles, Part 3)"  These 2 songs are a must on any fishermans music list.  I am not a huge country music fan but I have some good country fishing songs on the CD as well like, "Fishing in the dark"  and "Dont take the Girl".
I wanted to know if anyone else has a similar ritual or some other favorite music they listen to?

I like punk music, but I can handle some metal. I really like Disturbed, Evergreen Terrace, and some others. On the way to fishing, it's gotta be mellow. Right now, I'm getting to lakes (that have fish other than trout in) about 3 times a month. I get so syked, I can hardly keep the gas peddal off the floor as it is. So I keep Jack Johnson or Ben Harper in the cd player.                                                                                                                                       Eric, cattle decapitation? Call me an odd-ball, but i like inspirational songs, something postive and encouraging, when I'm headed out to fish. Not like organ music or anything like that, but groups like 3D day, News Boys, contemporay christian rock.
