These bass are actually kinda small. Almost in the "dink" catagory. But the one "chunk" has some really good color.

These were caught at a local scrap of water by my house. The pressure is pretty heavy and if it wasn't so close, I would fish some other places. I've been here a couple times in the last few weeks and its been hit or miss.

Hook,

I don't know what the file size limit is on the jusspress site. That site was one of the few that let me just sign up, post vids and then post the links for free. A nice trick is e-mailing the links to yourself first and then copy/paste the link onto the forum. That way I can test it a few times first. Real glad it worked here on the forum, first try.

I think smaller videos load faster and my workplace has a 5MB limit on their e-mail server. So I try to keep it under that.

1eyeReD,

Clear water tends to make darker, more brilliant colored fish in my opinion. Something about the light passing through water affecting their pigment and stuff. I like to fish clear water, so most fish I catch have great color and and well defined patterns. Had great light that day too which helps a lot.

The other bass in the second video had a more bland color pattern as well as a large healed cut on its belly.

"Must have missed being a comorant's lunch at some point." I guessed as I let him go. "I shoulda named him, Lucky!"

Honestly though these were small fish. Wish I coulda got some bigger ones that day to post. There's always next time.  ;D
