Has anyone fished Flatiron Reservoir this year. I am going for the first time to the lake. Does anyone have any tips? What species might I find doing some shore fishing?
Never fished Flatiron but hear its fishing slow right now according to DOW. It was just stocked last week as well as Pinewood right above it. I think there are just mostly rainbows in there with some suckers, browns, cuts, and brookies. If fishing is slow try Pinewood by the boat dock or in Fisherman's Cove. Powerbait, worms, and minnows are work well but sometimes those fish are hard to hook. You can use the same pass for both lakes that is purchased by the Carter Lake entrance.
well, thats more info then i had previously. Thanks for the tips, I will post on Friday how and where we did or didn't .
