the lake is open no ice. the rb are coming in to spawn. We were catching the blackes on flies, from 17" to 20".  the macks were more lucky they did not fall for the dead  sucker trick. tried tubes but kept loseing them and everything else ,dam that RIP RAP. about 10:00am the wind kicked up hard . no more bites. I will give it 2 more weeks and I bet the macks will be closer. And the weather warmer it was cold. HAS any body caught nice lakers here?

There are some real nice lakers in here-I would concentrate on the shallow western side of the lake this time of year. They like jerkbaits in a rainbow trout finish. Alot of guys reel these in but the right way to fish them is jerk-jerk-pause. Vary the pause.
