I highly advise against ice fishing this lake. As someone that is eager to fish it every year, every Feb, March and April I was welcomed with ice sheets slamming into the shore line as the plant adjusting water levels purposely breaks the ice.

I don't ice fish. Forebay didn't use to freeze, but winters seem to be getting colder.

I live in the banana belt and it seems to be the frozen belt now.

i just noticed where you lived and laughed at my self telling you something you already knew before me lol. I love the Forebay for open water action.
