myself, a friend and his son went up to wf today to start the new years off correctly.started off rough by me losing my wallet(later found by my wife in the road in front of our house)then despite checking local forcast we arrived to a balmy -26 degrees this morning.the temp at noon when we left was a whopping -18.ice is only three inches were we were but making quickly. fishing was ok we caught about 15 ranging from 7inches up to 24 but most were the typical 16-18inches.still a good day once we warmed up . happy new year all.enjoy the ice.

At least I aint cold.

It's weird, I just dont enjoy that -20 crap anymore. Plus I'd rather fish for warmwater species.

That's friggin' cold! Not so bad when it starts out cold early and warms up but when it only "warms up" to -18, that's rough! Glad you found your wallet and caught fish! 8)
