Hello new to the forum, looking for somewhere to ice near fort collins. Not sure where to go but have heard Red Feather Lakes possibly. Anyone know the conditions there or about any other lakes to go to? Thanks in advance!

I was just up at Red Feather today. Ice was 10-12" and the stockers were eating.

Boyd is really popular and has a pretty large variety of species.

You can fish a lot of the park ponds in fort Collins. I know city park has stockers and some perch. Other ponds have bluegill, bass, etc. You cant fish any of the state wildlife ponds though, like riverbend or arapahoe bend ponds.

Seaman has millions of 8-9" perch and the occasional nice bow or brown. Go thin them out.
