Good day all, hard post to write today. I have to let go of my water legs. This boat has given me and my family a lot of hours of water fun and fishing. As life does, things changed big time and I am now a father of 2 young boys (3 and 1) and many other life events. The boat is sitting in storage off of Titan Road and Santa-Fe and I have until the 18th to get it out of there. One of the infamous "my loss is your gain" moments.
I was trying to consider a fair price to sell, but this boat has been sitting for 5 years, and needs some work on the interior (a.k.a. no Captains or passenger chair, the back bucket seats are in bad shape but I do have 2 new seats to replace those, needs to be cleaned up, etc), and the motor probably needs a good going through as time is not nice to gaskets, etc. I do not anticipate any time in the near future where I will have time to get her brought back to life, so I have decided to let it go to someone who can continue to enjoy her. I will say that when she was parked, she was winterized and in perfect running condition.
She is the perfect size with room to accommodate a small group and very easy to manage. 1985 16' 4Winns Marquis. The boat is equipped with a 75HP Johnson motor and a 55lb thrust (wireless) trolling motor. Due to the work needed and timeliness of the situation I just have to let her go, and fast. Free to a good home for someone who doesn't mind a little elbow grease to get her going again. Clean title, will transfer on pickup.
