Full Moon and ice fishing

I've been fishing the hardwater in Colorado for more than a decade from early ice to late season.
Of all the things I have learned, ice fishing around the time of a full moon is usually the most unproductive time you can have all month.
My thinking is that with the full moon and the light on the ice, the fish feed pretty well during the evening, and then suffer lock jaw during the day. This observation holds pretty true for me even during the summer months, though not to such extremes.
I would be pretty curious to see if any of you have had the same experience. If your results are contrary to mine, Please, share your wisdom so that I can stop my normal boycott of fishing on full moon weekends.
