I'm surprised that there hasn't been much talk about it yet. Fishing had been pretty good, a lot of stockers but a few big boys if you know where to look. It's a new lake to me but has thus far proven to be a good (and close) one. Just be sure to find the river channel and you'll be golden.

Because of the sand that gets intothe ice and dulls your auger blade, so people tend to not fish it as much later in the season.

Good to know, its a had been a good place to take first timers because they can catch a lot of fish but now knowing about the sand it makes me think again. Guess I'll be making a run up to elevenmile this Saturday.

We've got some 20 plus ones out of there earlier this year but after seeing what happened to my blades and being stuck out at 11 mile with a dull auger, I'm going to try to stay away from there.
