Tubed at 11,650 ft Sunday then hiked to another lake @ 11,700 ft Monday.
Man that water was freekin cold. Only pumped the float tube 3/4 full then the cold water reduced pressure so I was sitting pretty low. So lo0w in fact that water was seeping over the top of my waders making it even colder. Got 1 on a tube then several on a blade bait. Only fished for 1.5 hours. Took 3 hours to get feeling back in my fingers! Bummer cause they really liked the blade oh well next time-

I haven't been to that lake in years but it's always in the back of my mind. Good idea to take the tube. I LOL'd at that photo of you up to your armpits.
