Yes, if we are all talking about Issak Walton pond there are some very large bass in the lake. Also, it is a posted kids pond and has been for a few years now. Be aware of the LPD because they would just love to have a reason to come down and have a chat with you.
id like to see some pics , and its cheating if you are fishing a kids pond

I call Shenanigans on that!
Don- I believe in 24" largemouth. I usually see one every year, but just one mind you. I actually hooked one once at connected lakes (2004) but it broke my line. He may be telling the truth, but chances are he mistyped or overestimated the size. I'm sure it was a nice fish though kuhuna. Good report.
Hey TFB- Methinks you will have a career in politics. That was SMOOOOTH!

so was it a 12" bass that you measured on each side? I'm confused!?

That would also make your crappies 6.5 and 7" which is much more believable.

A 24" Largemouth would easily be pushing 10lbs and beyond. I find it hard to believe.

I'm with Don on this one.

so it was a 12" largemouth then? alright. When you measure a fish, you can't get the length of one side, and then the length of the other, and add them. it is the total length of one side.
