Brutal wind at Pueblo on 11-22. Found some shelter and some nice eyes. Actually, we got on the water early when the wind wasn't too bad and dipped into a cove for a protection anyway. Found some nice eyes. 3 out of the first 4 were keepers with the 4th one being a 1/4" shy. We caught a couple of "spots" and another short eye. Fished in 20-30 f.o.w. with spoons. The bite didn't last long, only 30 minutes or so and then it shut off and the fish moved out. After that we trekked into the wind and boat control was difficult. We did manage another eye later in the afternoon on the crankbait pitching to shore before we gave it up for wind brutality. Still have never caught a limit of eyes but came as close as ever. Water temp is 49 plus.

Hey, Palerider. Nice batch of paper mouths. I've not been able to get on them at all this year. Last one was a week ago just north of Midway. Just about big enough for a sandwich......if you used mini-crackers. Caught it on a jigging rap that was about as big as it was.
