Do indeed glowing jigs help catch more fish, especially in deep waters or when snow is deep? I did seem to get more interest from lake trout when I used glowing jig instead of ordinary white, but I am not sure if it wasn`t just a coincidence. Some fishermen strongly suggest glowing jigs in deep water for lake trout, others seem to think the scent is more important. Also, I tested number "glow in the dark" jigs and tube jigs in a dark room and found that they glow with very different intensity. For example, freshwater basics tubes glow a little, gitzit perhaps a bit more, but some small solid jigs are very intense white or red. Any comments?

Hard to say. Sometimes they make the difference -- sometimes the fish don't give a crap. It doesn't hurt to have a wide variety of baits when the fish are picky.
I've had times when the glow jigs are all they would hit. This saturday they only wanted pink tubes --go figure.
