Accidents can happen anywhere. Most of the rocks at Powell move during the rainstorms. I remember growing up and going into Bullfrog to find a rental houseboat at the fuel docks that had a rock slide come down on it. The pontoons and deck were about all that was left. I seem to remember that there wasn't anyone on the houseboat at the time of the accident.

Sure would be scary to have a rock fall down and hit you there, regardless of how big it was. I have probably been to Powell close to 100 times in my life, and this is the first story of that type I have heard.

That said, it will probably be more and more common in the future. My advice is to stay away from Powell. Nothing to see or catch there. Move along please.
