My wife and I went out today after we fished Barbour Ponds and we did okay. We caught 4 trout about 13" and 2 bass 12" long. We were there for about two hours. We also caught a whole bunch of small bluegill, perch and sunfish, about 12 in all. They were very small and since the lake is highly populated with them I took them for catfish bait. On the trout we used flourescent red and orange powerbait. For the bass we used two imitation shad spinnerbaits. For the little guys, we used salmon eggs and worms.

Nice little outing, I bet they kept you pretty busy in the 2 hours with that many different species following your bait/lures. I bet I know someone who could take those perch eyes off your hands. :p

It wasn't really busy. The fish came in bursts. Most of the little guys were caught two at a time.
