bassmasters65-You got me confused here-you say that this is not the time of year to be throwing baits that mimic baitfish. IMHO this is EXACTLY the time of year to be throwing lures that mimic baitfish.
You report that a Manns minus 1 and a 1/4 oz. trap were producing-both these lures do exactly guess what-they mimic baitfish. :
