Me and todd hiked into Granby inlet (about a 5 mile walk).Area of fishable water at 730am was limited, still caught about 10 bos each in 3ft. of water till sun came over hill and they stopped biting.Egg sacs and bouyants worked.Todd also caught a 16" brown and a 22" laker. All mine were bos 14-15"ers.As sun rose and the temps became HOT,fishable area widened quickly, and we progressed to deeper water.Sacs were killing 'em,so I switched to a 1/8 oz silver/orange kasty and started wuppin on 'em.We fished till 530pm and the final tally was 40-45 bos and 1 small brown for me,35 bos, 2 browns and 1 mac for todd. Most bos were 13-15" clones. It was prolly the nicest day ever this early at granby.Lots of soft, deep snow on walk out. NOW is the time to start hitting ice-out lakes!! Later-

Slayer,

What did you use to catch that fish on the left?! ;D ;)

Also, what do you DO besides fish? You get around. You da man! You rock! I want your job - and so does my son!

Nicely done Slayerfish!

Like I said before, if the weather stinks down here, grab the coldweather gear and hit the ice, plenty of fish waiting to be caught.  Don't put the ice fishing gear away yet.

Excellent pics.
