Is a mess, some of the bays are ok, be very careful. Main lake just got a foot of snow on top of an 1" or less ice. Still open water from Green Ridge/Columbine/Rocky point. More snow tomorrow. The worst thing that can happen to fresh thin ice is a big dump of heavy wet snow.

Damn that sucks, is it gonna be as sketchy in spots as it was last year for the tourney?? I hit water so many times on the snowmobile, I know it was mainly slush on top of ice but still scares the heck outa ya. Maybe we should get some snow shovels out there to push the snow off

I didn't see any unsafe areas Saturday. With that said, no ice is safe ice! The ice has been pretty sloppy with slush, but is getting much better.

I'm thinking about getting out to granby tomorrow morning, any new updates on ice conditions and safe areas?
Fished Rocky Point Saturday. Hit a pocket of slush between Harvey And Deer Islands. Just layer on the gas and pushed through it. There was 7-8" of ice of of Rocky Point and no slush.
